Re: What do you guys carry?
I'm currently carrying a Kimber Ultra Eclipse in a left-handed Bianchi Black Widow holster. It shares holster time with a lightly customized Springfield Champion and a stock Browning High Power .40 S&W.
In two and a half weeks, they'll be supplanted by an H&K P2000 .40 S&W (not my choice, but a duty gun).

Duty Gun floats between a Glock 21SF and a STI RangerII 1911. BUG, Taurus 651 Protector (.357 Mag). I have several other lovelies I carry when off duty, for the sake of brevity, I typically carry a Glock--it has saved my life several times, never a glitch.

Duty gun is an M4 ;)
Back home, if I'm going anywhere, there's a real good chance I'm going on my motorcycle. That said, I tend to carry my Kel-Tec P11, stoked with Cor-Bon +P JHPs (can't remember if they're 115s or 125s off hand). It rides IWB in a Comp-Tac Pro Undercover. There's one in the pipe, and 10 waiting behind that in the magazine.
When bigger is an option I opt for either my Colt Combat Commander, which has sported an Ed Brown barrel and a Dlask Arms long trigger for the last few years, or my bobtailed Nighthawk Custom Enforcer. They're also both carried IWB, and fed with the same CMC 8rd PowerMags. I'm not picky about my load in either of these pistols, as they'll feed anything with a .45ACP or .45 Auto headstamp - and put them exactly where they need to be. I've carried everything from 230gr Winchester USA "Personal Protection" JHPs to ultra hot 185gr +p+. They all impact minute-of-heart at sane combat pistol ranges

Re: What do you guys carry?
I usually carry one of two guns: Springfield Champion (4") 1911 (.45 acp) or a Bersa Thunder (.380 acp). I carry Winchester Rangers in both.

SA XD40 SC or S&W 1911PD. Like to shoot my Mod 29 but it's a little too big to carry conveniently.

I only recently purchased my Ruger P97. It was in the price range I was looking for. Did some online research and found (dated) but good reviews. Few Ruger fans but all were positive. Have come across very little negative reviews about the Ruger P-Series. IT seems as though you either like them or don't.
Haven’t had a chance yet to get to the range to try it out. So far I like how solid it feels. Seems well built. Except for the polymer frame, everything else is metal. I’m happy with my purchase so far.

Re: What do you guys carry?
Carrying a Sigma 9mm with 147gr Winchester jhp's "personal protection" (that's what it says on the box). Can carry all day without too much trouble.
Re: What do you guys carry?
Bobbed Kimber Pro CDP both IWB and OWB. I have a Hicap Kimber i carry if i have to go to a bad part of town (BP ten II).
Re: What do you guys carry?
Usually carry a Glock 27 with Federal's 180 grain HydraShok. Considering switching to the HST and also carrying my Glock 22, or 17. The 27 is very easy to conceal though.
