Either the P-51 is having to firewall the throttle, or the other guys are having to hold back almost to stall to keep that formation... ;-)

Kidding...I think the 51 would probably keep up just fine...

Kinda reminds me of putting F-14's against Japanese Zeros...Its just not a good matchup...Rather one-sided... :thumbs2:

I love those old warbirds. The jet fighters of today are cool too, but there is something about the sound of those Allison V12s and big radial engines that just screams power. My hat is off to all the good folks who put their time, sweat, and dollars into keeping them flying. My favorites are the P51 Mustangs, and F4-U Corsairs. :patriot:
