Moving question

#1

Post by KFC_Kid »

I just sent my app. off a week ago and after reading how different the time frames are for people I thought I should ask this. I will be moving in about a month and a half to a new house, if I fill out the change of address at the post office, the license should go to the house right? I just don't want to get penalized for whatever reason for not changing the address within 30 days. I'm planning to change it as soon as i receive it. Any advice would be great!

Call the DPS now. You can change your address before they issue the license.

I have the same kind of question..I am moving August first. I thought I applied with plenty of time to get my lisc at this place and just change it when i moved to Dallas. Unforchantly after seeing the times some people in this group wait I am kind of worried. I was hoping mine might go quicker because of the last 5 years i spent 4 in the army and held a security clearnce. We shall see i suppose
