What's a Wally Walk ??

OK, I have to ask. What's a Wally Walk? You mean going to Wal-Mart to have a stroll with you concealed piece? What if they have metal detectors at the doors (like the one at Spring Cypress and 249)?

There are no metal detectors at any Walmart. Those are RFID detectors to prevent shoplifting.

Wally walk is taking your first outing after receiveing your CHL. You must strap on your weapon and spare ammo and go to Wally World where you must spend some time looking at men stuff, buy ammo, and get something to eat. Nachos was the original requirement but anything will do as long as you have to use lots of napkins and have to dress it up.

The last two members who posted their experience also posted pics. You have a standard to meet.

Do a search.

Good luck!

Don't forget the route you need to take, I found a map and it will help. I can't wait to follow it myself, but I am only 60 days in to my wait.
I don't remember where I found this or I would give them credit, so if it was you then thank you,

Maybe as part of the new WallyWalk photo tradition, one should walk through the store wearing a t-shirt with that map ironed on. Most people wouldn't pay it any attention, but any other CHL would instantly spot you and could [covertly] assess your concealing skills.

I think that's the map for the Walmart where Gecko45 works.
