Request for PIN Update

"At this time it is taking 120 days to processs for the first time license."

Response I received by e-mail today (6/5/08) from DPS asking about my PIN number.

sounds to me like they need to hire more people to process

I would also assume that there are more applicants...at least I hope so.

Apparently that's the problem.
The universal complaint from DPS, which may be justified, was more money and authorization to hire more employees. They have added 12 temps to the 40 full time employees working only on CHLs. We were also told the number of employees has not increased since the beginning of the program in 1996.
