WTB - Internet Gun Sales

#1

Post by Oldgringo »

:tiphat: Y'all:

When we get back into Texas around the first of October, I'll be looking to acquire a 1911 sub-compact for me and a Springfield XD 9 sub-compact for Mrs. Oldgringo. Does anyone here have any experience, to share, with:

* Budsgunshop.com
* Cdnnsports.com

I surrendered my FFL a dozen years ago. Does anyone have any experience, to share, with a reputable FFL transfer agent in the Pineywoods?

:thewave

Thanks and Viva Palin,

Mr. and Mrs. Oldgringo - CHL (bofus :fire )

I have dealt with Bud's more than once, and they have done me right.

I have not bought a firearm from CDNN, but have ordered accessories without problem.

I will definitely do business with Bud's again without hesitation.

Haven't dealt with CDNN in a while, but the sales tax was not a plus in their favor and had to be factored in the deal. Dealt with Bud's several times. Excellent service. Can't recommend them high enough.

Done business with both & have had good experience with both. If you're buying once you're back in TX then CDNN will have to charge tax on the sale since they are located here.

Having just had a shipment lost in transit from Bud's, make sure you get the insurance for a few bucks.

Bud's and the local FFL (Neal Smith) addressed the issue quickly and successfully with the USPS and the package was found, but knowing the package was insured for loss was worth the few extra dollars. That's a story in and of itself. Again, get the insurance.

:tiphat: Good advice!

That's way too much money to leave in the hands of the USPS :patriot: without any accountability (insurance) .

If you deal with Bud's, do get the insurance. I just purchased a 700.00 revolver - insurance was 7 bucks. I have made several purchases from them with no problems.
