KRM45 welcome aboard here. Welcome BACK to the shooting sport. WELCOME to the CHL community. Glad to here you are getting used to carrying. Many carry 24-7 but only the plastic part of CHL. Glad to know all who carry the extra weight also. Good job. Welcome to the family.

Hi, I'm Dan; and I'm a Glockaholic. Ok not original. I recently bought a 27 and took my CHL class in San Antonio in Jan. Got my CHL last week. I owned many hand guns in the 80's but sold them when I got married. I'm 54, recently widowed with 2 daughters, 17 and 11 and am a stockbroker in private practice. I installed a Crimson Trace laser grip and am very impressed with it's ease of installation. My dad gave me a Ruger 22 rifle when I was 15 and the darn thing still shoots great. I began following this forum in Nov when I bought my 27 and really appreciate the wealth of knowledge and teh (almost) absence of flaming. Years ago when I lived in Austin, I used to hang out with some cop friends and go to their choir practices. Oh, the memories!

Welcome to Texas & to CHL. Your wife chose well. Mine also has the 232. Shoots it very well. Most of the time she carries her little Tomcat for size now. Glad to have you.

I have been a CHL instructor since 95. My wife is an instructor, too. We have certified over 1,000 students.

I live in Euless but can conduct classes anywhere. I have my own range between Venus and Maypearl.

I carry a couple of Glocks - in 357Sig behind my right hip and 9mm behind my left and a NAA .22 mag on my belt buckle.

I used to be a CPA but sold that business and retired. I am thinking about selling insurance or teaching high school math to make a little money.
