that cherrywood on the AK is sexy.

Does the front sight on that AR impede your aimpoint at all?

just got back from the range with the AK, shot great, Lancaster sighted it in at the factory pretty well. It was still shooting an inch or two too high at 50 yards but I dont really want to make it an accuracy machine like the AR, windage sight in is good already. I'll probably just leave it for now. Was the only AK at the range, everyone else had ARs :biggrinjester: In the end I still prefer the AR, but the AK is still fun

Nah the front sight doesnt affect the aimpoint for the AR, you basically ignore it and the red dot is already zeroed. With the red dot you dont have to look directly center of the eyepiece you can go above or below, the red dot will stay on target

I really like the cherry wood on your Ak. Gives it a classy kind of look. Where you pleased with the fit and finish on the Lancaster Ak? Which model did you get and was the price fair?

Beautiful! I have the exact same Lancaster. They went up in price recently - get 'em while you can.

Would it be safe to buy one from Lancaster and not be able to inspect it or are the common problems with lesser expensive Ak's not an issue with their product? Or are their Ak's not considered the lesser expensive models? Sorry to plug away with questions, but I want to know what I am shopping for.
