I checked my status today and was stoked to read "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active". It's been 8 months since i first turned in the application and 5 months since the last problem was fixed.

I'm surprised you got yours so fast being that Houston/Harris County was involved. The "CCBSL" (Concealed Carry Big Stick License) can be obtained immediately at any Academy over in the baseball bat department................

8 MONTHS?! oh wow, ill go crazy if I have to wait that long. Ill call and email every day if I have to, to prevent that. Glad you finally got it though, congrats!

Just got mine yesterday the 29th, too. I'm so sorry it took so long, but glad it came through. Red tape sure is sticky, isn't it? Slows down everything.
