Guess he figured giving directions a Glock owner could understand would take too long.

You should get a Glock bumper sticker so you can use the handicap parking spaces too.

I'm laughin', but I won't touch that. Not on your life...

I generally don't wear any overtly shooter-ish cap unless it's just a range-and-back trip. I picked up a cap at Gunsite earlier this year: black with an embroidered gray logo of the raven; no text. It's my current favorite 'cause I figure if anyone recognizes it, he's a brother-in-arms. ;-)

I save my GLOCK cap for the gun club. Wearing it beyond that, I feel it becomes a SHOOT ME FIRST cap.

Same reason I don't know that I would open carry even if that were an option.

Probably I could get a cap made somewhere like cafepress that said, "This space for rent," but I'm too lazy.

:tiphat: Mine came from WalleyWorld (some time ago) in khaki and OD. I think they were about 5 smackers each and they have served me well. :clapping:

Plain caps seem to go in and out of style. I bought a couple several years ago, but they got too worn to be respectable. Now all I see are logo caps and silly phrases that I don't want any part of ("I'm only here for the beer" and junk like that.)

Yep, plus even under normal circumstances you would be a lot more likely to be made since people are more likely to give you a good looking over.

IMHO, you're giving crooks and the general populace too much credit.

Probably half of robbers are functionally illiterate. They want to get in, grab the loot, and get out, not figure out which customer may be armed based on the insignias on their clothing.

I have never heard of someone being attacked that way.

The average person is utterly oblivious. I know when someone has scanned my range cap. I can see where they are focusing (unless they are wearing sunglasses). Exactly once, in a grocery store, a woman looked at me that way and got a surprised expression on her face. She did not react any other way.
