Just took my chl class yesterday with mr. estep and he recommended this forum. I've been lurking around for awhile until I decided to finally post something. Yall got a lotta good information on here Im glad he mentioned this to us. A little info on me my name is jon, I have a glock 23 and Im hunkering down for a long road ahead before I get my plastic in the mail.

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me

Welcome. It's always good to see a Tom Estep alumnus and near neighbor.

You may know already that League City has the most CHL holders per capita of any Texas city.

No I didnt know that, wow thats a pretty good stat.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum. I also found out about this forum when I took my CHL class and what a blessing it has been. There are a lot of very good folks here and they are willing to help those of us that are starting out in concealed carry.
