I went to my local Academy here in NW Houston and the ammo shelves looked mighty bare.

In my experience, the Wal-mart in Rowlett is much better for ammo. The Rockwall store has never had a great selection based on my experience. Last week I picked up 500 rounds of 0.40 Blazer brass (at a really nice prices as well). I didn't look for 9mm, but their shelves were stocked really well.

Sorry for buying all of your ammo....LOL. Just bought about 500 rounds of .40 and 9mm blazer Brass from Walmart in Farmers Branch Friday. I went to several Walmarts and Academy stores before I found what I needed. Academy usually has UMC 250 round cases but you can't beat the price of the Blazer Brass. Not a fan of the usual Blazer steel or aluminum case ammo but the Brass is great! Academy only had the Monarch 9mm steel cased stuff. My biggest problem now is finding .223 to feed the AR. Happy Shooting!
