That is a young Bob Munden. Bob is good but I think Jerry Miculek holds the current title.

He's quite fast, but I can't stand listening to him boast. He takes 'braggart' to new heights.

I'll have to remember this next time there's an argument about revolvers being able to be fired faster than a semi auto ;)

He's very fast at exhibition trick shooting that starts with the hand on the single action revolver's handle, the gloved hammer fanning hand prepositioned just in front of it, a holster that has a severe forward rake to minimize the rotation required to bring the barrel on target, and blanks or light cowboy action loads.

This doesn't compare to what Jerry Miculek does with a modern revolver and live ammo.

I'd like to see what Bob could do on a draw from concealment using a modern combat pistol, loaded with combat appropriate ammo.

It is even if you can do it but still talk about it too much or the wrong way.

In the video, Bob stated the alleged facts about the records he holds and the speed of his draw, which in and of themselves are not bragging. His body language, tone, and attitude changed that into a less than pretty display of being full of himself. The same statements could have been made with humility and would have created a much better impression of the man.

:iagree: He certainly could have exhibited a little more humility in stating the facts. I thought he was going to break his arm patting himself on the back.
