WTS - S&W .44 Magnum, Model 29. It's not the remake of the model 29. It's still with the original wood case on blue velvet and the pistol is in mint condition. Asking $900.00 plus shipping cost to your nearest FFL.

I can be downtown Minneapolis (10th and Nicollet) in 20 minutes. Map Quest says 20 miles to where I used to work downtown.

He said he would ship it to your FFL....go for it...LOL. Hurry.... before I do. I have been wanting a "dirty harry" handgun for 20 years. The model 29 is one of my favorites. I have laid my firearm budget to waist the last year or I would buy the darned thing.

I own a Model 29 Classic with a 5" barrel with full length barrel lug. It is one of my all time favorite pistols, and I would have to be very hard pressed to ever consider selling it. Since I already owned one, I hadn't bothered to look and see what they go for these days. One day I'm window shopping at Bass Pro, and I'm looking at guns very similar to mine going for more than twice what I paid for mine ($452.00 NIB at Turner's Outdoorsman in Pasadena, California)!

Given that this particular pistol being sold is LNIB, comes with the wood display case, and that it has some desirability as a collectible, I would say that your price of $900 is more than fair. Whoever gets to buy it is getting a pretty special pistol at a heck of a price.

Ya, I guess you can't get much further north without being in Canada.

LOL... I'm from North Dakota, myself. I lived a big chunk of my life 20 miles from the border. I even speak fluent Canadian... I know they alphabet from Eh to Zed.

Once years ago I was in Georgia and got on an elevator with a Texan. He asked where i was from (this was a large national convention so this kind of conversation wasn't unusual) and when I replied, "North Dakota" he asked, "North Dakota...isn't that a suburb of Texas?" LOL

The S&W Model 29 .44 Magnum is no longer for sale. The delema has passed and he is keeping his pistols. :tiphat: Too bad he sold his AR-15 though. :cryin
