WTB Inexpensive .243 or .270
Just looking to pick up an inexpensive .243 or .270 rifle to join my 30-06. I'd prefer wood stock. Low $$$ is the key.

go to http://www.budsgunshop.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; you can get a savage model 11 in 243 w/scope for around 4400.00 new and that is probably one of the most out of the box accurate guns I've seen.

Academy stores have the Marlin XL7 for $279. It appears to be a well made gun incorporating several attributes from Remington, Savage, and Browning.

Try a Mossberg 100 ATR i picked up one for $300 almost new(gun was bought when they could not call to get the quick background check ends up he was a felon and had to return it)
Or if you want something cheap but not that caliber(7.62X54R) you could always pick up a Mosin Nagant for around $100
