Was wondering this myself. I'm calling Monday and will let you know via PM.

Might as well let everyone know. I'm sure there are more who might be in the same situation.

I can't pass this opportunity up. I have a little spending money, and was gonna look into buying a new gun, but I think that money is better spent on the NRA. Looking for a sponsor. PM if you can help.

I'd definitely like to get in on this, but I just spent $125 for a 5 year membership. Do these sales come up on a regular basis or is it best to go for this right now?

Well the lady that I spoke to this morning said it was only valid for family members of a Life Member! I started to tell her that Mike was my uncle, but honesty got the best of me. Oh well, I tried! Thanks, Mike. I will stick with the annual membership for now.

Maybe the deal changed or something. I can't imagine that all the people in this thread that got the deal, did it by lying and saying they were related. At least I hope not or we are truly losing sight of what is honorable.

I did not mean to suggest that the folks that got the deal were anything less than honorable! I think it is more luck of the draw as to who you get on the other end! Seems like if you can get Dianne, you have a shot at getting the deal, if not, you are out of luck!

I thought about it over lunch and decided to pony up for the full amount (didn't need another EBR anyhow). So now I am a Lifetime Member of the NRA!

And i did not mean to imply that you said that. I was just meaning to say they changed the deal up.

There was no change in the deal. Diane told me Friday that the only offer was the Legacy Life for family members.

But she also said they probably wouldn't question a life member signing up a friend.

Those who spoke with Andrew on Friday were denied.

We pushed the envelope on Friday and NRA now has a few more life members than they would have had otherwise.

It's obvious that the response was large enough that they had to start adhering strictly to the actual program.

When I talked to Diane, I told her that Mike was "a friend from an internet chat forum" and that was good enough for her.

Mike, I hope you don't mind me calling you a friend, but since you sponsored me on this you're my new friend.

Does this mean the deal is still being offered for family members? I was considering doing it for my son.
