Stolen guns

#1

Post by AndyAg08 »

So the apartment got broken into yesterday (we believe around 1130am). They made off with 2 laptops, some jewlery, and the two pistols from the night stand.

Come to find out 3 apartments in the complex were hit. Its in the summer wood area for those of you familiar with north east Houston.

Between the pictures on the laptops and knowing that scum of the earth got two guns it just makes me sick!

im very sorry to hear that, its a sickening feeling when someone invades your personal space and takes away things that you work hard for. remember things can be replaced, lessons learned, but thank god that you or your loved ones are safe

AndyAg08, I've been a victim of residential burglary too. Absolute scum commit these crimes.
The reality is, your stuff is gone. What I suggest you do is alert local gun clubs. Post the stolen
guns SN's and gun descriptions on this site, on TexasHuntingForum, THR and any other sites you frequent.
In the DFW area, the larger gun shows are sponsored by the Dallas Arms Collectors. Email them and any
similar clubs in your (Houston?) area. It will be a very slim chance they are recovered, but at least you
know you've done all that can be done after the fact. Sorry for your troubles.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. There is nothing worse, in my book, than a thief! I do hope they catch the thief and hopefully get some of your things back.

With a little luck, your insurance will help replace the replaceable.

As for the pictures, if they haven't been saved on a disc (really big hint) they are gone - whether the laptop was stolen or just crashed (been there, done that :banghead: ).

Good luck with the recovery/replacement efforts.
