One has to assume that made a lasting impression on the students.

+1 That pretty well guarantees they will not attempt the same thing.

Wow. I don't care if I've triple checked that a gun is unloaded, I would never point it at myself or anyone else and actually pull the trigger to "prove" it was unloaded. Sad story...I just don't understand some people.

Wow. Barely 10:00 a.m. and already Flint won the Droll Post of the Day Award. No need for the rest of us to even try again until tomorrow. :leaving

I agree - I don't care if I was 101% sure the gun was "unloaded" I wouldn't take the chance.

74novaman - I assume you got you "handle" from owning a "74 Nova. My first car was a "70 Nova. Pretty peppy little car with only a "307" in it.

You would be right sir. Here's a link to the current status of that "project" if you're interested in car stuff: http://www.texasstreetcars.com/viewtopic.php?t=139 Disclaimer: Car guys aren't as PG language wise on that site.

It had a 350 and was pretty quick, but when funds are where I need them, it will be getting a bigger, newer Fuel Injected engine with a turbocharger attached....hoping to make it push around 600 hp to the wheels at the track... :thumbs2:

I assume that as a simple procedural matter that they checked the hands of the two "students" for gun-powder residue.

I don't care if it is unloaded, broken down to its parts and I only had the barrel in my hand, I would still NOT point it at my head, your head or the dogs head. My grandfather would get up outta his grave and beat my butt with his 42" belt until it bleed for doing something so stupid.
