Nice weapon! I bought one just like it from Academy about 3 months ago...and after I paid tax, it came out to exactly the same price. If I were back home in Texas this month (suffering in San Fran naked without my CHL until the end of May), I'd get it for sure since you can't find them (more often than not) anymore on the shelf...and no 4473 for a FTF transaction!

For those that don't know,.......Carlson1 is not only a Moderator on this forum, but a fine upstanding individual as well!

I personally purchased a slightly used AR15 from him a couple of years ago when the prices were a bit more realistic......

But, today, his pricing is still quite good and a good incentive in buying this rifle is the fact that there is no 4473 involved. This may or may not mean something in the future, but I would suggest that it might.........
