My wife received her PIN this week and it says "Processing Application". It took 55 days to get the PIN, I'm sure it's still a month or more off. She's totally unconcerned, she says when it shows up in the mail she'll know it was approved. I checked mine several times a day and couldn't wait. Now if she was waiting for a gift card from SteinMart, she'd be checking that mailbox hourly "rlol" .

I filled the app out online, so I got my PIN when they mailed me the app, but apparently they haven't started on my packet yet (fingerprints/photos/class completion/affidavits/etc).
Keep in mind that DPS got my application about 3 weeks before they got yours and mine only just changed to "Processing". You may have to wait another 3 weeks to see that status change.
Yes, I presume that is the case. I'm just posting as a matter of comparison, so those of us on pins and needles can compare the respective timeline as it develops. With luck, in a few weeks, I will have mine "being processed".
OK, moved to "Processing Application". No idea when it switched, since it's been a few days since I checked.

At this point, I hope they lollygag a little, since my birthday is July 9th, and as I understand things, the renewal date is your b-day anniversary, so if it goes into the system after the 9th, I will get an extra year before I have to renew.

Never thought of that...my b-day is July 6th, so hopefully it will be shortly after that...my b-day is somewhere around 80 days, so it is possible

Anybody else experienced that?

USA1 I saw that March post. If his numbers were correct when DPS received his packet and we are so lucky. We are looking at 15 days for plastic in hand. Since you and I are still processing and both in Harris county the race is still on it will be interesting to see who gets it first and when we get it.

Using your figures, I am not expecting anything until the first to middle of July. But sooner would be nice. Looking at July 20th. But will see. :totap:
