Maybe a road trip to Arlington and North Richland Hills may be justified? Well that could be justified if you were looking for 9mm ammo. Everything else is kinda iffy.

Academy at Edgebrook and I45 has lots of Monarch 9mm and Remington bulk 525 count 22lr, Academy at Nasa has that and UMC bulk .223 for $99. Neither had .45.

The Academys here in San Antonio have pretty much had a stready supply of Monarch brass 9mm for $10.99. Oddly they actually had some Blazer brass, but it was $11.99 where right next door at Walmart it goes for $8.99 (when they have it).

This post is a day old, but here's some ammo for sale.

All the following ammo was WWB, the large boxes.
I'm not sure if all 3 ammo sizes had 100 rounds each.
I don't know what the prices are.
.380 - 6 boxes! All you Bersa and Ruger LCP guys - go!
9mm - 2 boxes.
.40 - 2 boxes.

Do they make you wait 3 days, or do they do
a background check thru the ATF database?
Just curious. Last time I bought ammo was
about 2003 down in Austin Texas on north Lamar
and they rang me up like I was buyin soda water
or something (no big deal at all)

More like buying beer. There's a minimum asge of 21 for handgun ammo and 18 for rifles and shotguns.
Walmart in Grand Prairie 360 and Great Southwest has Blazer Brass .40 cal. 12 boxes and .45 cal 8 boxes $14.97 on the .45 and I did not look that close on the .40 price .... This was at 8 am.

Clarification, please...... Hwy. 360 and Great Southwest Pkwy, do not intersect....Both run north and south.
