In the summer I usually dress in shorts and a T-shirt. No place to conceal. Also when we eat out, I like to start with a Martini. The two don't mix well. There are some other reasons and restrictions.

What is the general mindset on this subject?

I....I....I....I....don't believe it. I checked last night(Tues) at 2330 and it read same old thing "processing application".

I just got up and at 0654 I checked, logged out and checked again because I didn't believe what I saw(hadn't had my first cup of coffee yet) and it said:

Application Completed - license issued or certificate active !!!!!!!

Congrats!!!!!

I did something similar last night/early this morning. I was up at 3:30am to let the dogs out, decided to check on status while they did their business...it showed "Processing Application"

And, at 7:45am, after getting the daughter off to school, I decided to check again...and what do you know, it showed "Processing Application" :waiting: LOL

Yep, you don’t want to mix the two, you can always change your schedule on that Martini and have it when you get home. If you should be attacked while out in the evening I think you would rather have your piece than that Martini.
A nice Ruger LCP 380 in the pocket of the shorts is a heck of a lot better than nothing at all.

Ohhhh how pretty! Thanks everybody. All in all, it wasn't a long wait at all. 48 calendar days since it went to "processing". But I've been really been waiting since May 31 when I applied online.

I guess it's time to get serious about holster hunting. I've got a great little mouse gun, but it's to nice just to stick it in my pocket. It might get scratched up or something.
