Got a new gun!!

Traded in my Smith and Wesson Sigma for an XD 40 subcompact today! Of course I didn't have time to make it to the range today, but will hopefully get there on Wednesday.

A big thanks to the guys at the Arms Room for getting me taken care of. They were very helpful.

I made almost the same move...only I got my xd sub 40 after my sigma was stolen!

But on a positive note I have been very happy with my xd ever since.

The Arms Room is a local gun shop here in League City. I do believe they have a website though.

Arms Room guys are usually normally priced, but I have seen a few things overpriced. Other than that I give them a 100% thumbs up. Have had two transfers made there and usually get a box or two of ammo when I'm in that neck of the woods.

Exactly no pics no gun I bought a XD45 in 4 inch and then when 45 ammo was hard to get I put it in da safe and bought a 3 inch XD40 and love both guns. Dont laugh at my reason to buy the 40 because its these excuse I used for the wife

Man, did you every make a good choice there! I used to own a sigma. On another note, I like the guys at the arms room, but I got really mad at them when they nearly double the fee for FFL transfers around the election and I've not returned since. The fear monger profiteers dont get my money, cheaper than dirt is a very good example!

My neighbor Wayne is an FFL and can do transfers in Friendswood. I get nothing out of this deal except to let others know of a local FFL. Here is his web site and he has small office near the AutoZone in Friendswood.

I've got two xd40subs, one for me and one for the wife. I carry an xd45 compact most of the time in the summer...great pistols, 100% reliable.
