Been lurking on this forum for a month or so now, Thought seeing I took my class this weekend and mailed my paperwork off this afternoon it might be a good idea to go ahead and say HI! I am sure I am going to learn a lot here and cant wait.
Thanks

Welcome! Hope you enjoy the forum and that your wait is short. Seems like things are getting better at DPS judging from some of the timelines/turnarounds I see lately. I'm at the 3 week point and application is in "processing" status, hoping for mid to late November results if everything goes without a hitch.

Welcome aboard friend!

You can add your hometown to your personal profile so it comes up each time
you post. That way your neighbors have a chance to ask you to their range.

What gun(s) do you own? If more than 1, which will you carry?

I plan on carrying an XD40 Subcompact. I would also like to invest in a .38 snub, any suggestions on a brand?

WOW, I was thinking S&W, but I just looked at the price. They are beyond proud of them, going to have to find that perfect deal. According to the Website they are running more then my XD cost!

There's a LOT of manufacturers out there that makes revolvers in .38 special & .357 mag.

Colt, S&W, Ruger, Taurus, Rossi, Charter Arms are a few that come to mind. I'm sure there's lots of others.
