I agree. I added the beavertail, loop hammer, 3-hole trigger etc to mine when I rebuilt it.
A few months later, I put it all back stock, with new springs, pins, bluing.

So the only thing left from the original gun is the slide, barrel, frame, extractor, sear, leaf spring, firing pin?

Leaf spring was replaced.

Trigger, barrel bushing, barrel link, etc are original.

I was in the mood for a 1911 with what I wanted on it. Shot it a few times and re-learned the lesson I learned years ago that 1911's are great weapons, just not for me.
