Hello!

Hello folks.

New to the forum, don't really know why it took me this long to join. Anywho... I've been carrying since 12/02/08. I took my CHL class with Tom Eastep (super nice guy by the way) in Texas City back in April of 08. Seemed like it took FOREVER to get it in the mail. However I am now apart of the online community.

I'm a big Sig/GLOCK/1911 guy. Have a little bit of everything which is always good and like to shoot for fun, and would like to get into IDPA now that my new work schedule permits me to have weekends off.

I might be moving to Austin soon, but hope to stay in Houston if possible. But I hear Austin has some good ranges too. Well I guess that does it for introductions. Thanks for having me!

Welcome to the forum, Gabe. There are many Tom Estep alumni here.

It's too bad you didn't make it to the TexasCHLForum day yesterday. Tom was there.

IDPA great stuff. The advice I would offer would be go to your first match and just hang out and tape targets. Pick out a "stud" who teaches and get some instruction that way you can start out doing things a way you probably wont have to unlearn later.
