Thank you! I totally missed the fax number on that letter I received yesterday. I had mailed it back this morning, but luckily I made copies of everything. So, I just faxed the copies. Hopefully that speeds things up a bit.

Me too . Whenever Paul came on , i would always turn up the radio to carefully listen to the story and then wait for his signature closing .

I miss him too. I started listening to him in the late 60's. And still listened to him on my way home from work in 2000. He stood for American ideals and morality. It's a shame there was no one to take his place. "And now.....you know.....the REST of the story." "Paul Harvey........good DAY!"

I disagree. My birth certificate sat on their fax machine for 3-4 weeks. See timeline below. I'm sure they just throw it in the same stack as the incoming mail. Its pretty rediculous when you see other people waiting 30 days or less. When renewal comes up I'll be spending my money with Florida.

edit: not to mention my "detailed letter" stating that they need something that they said they didn't need, sat in their outgoing mail for over 20 days.

:iagree: :iagree:

If you are going to fax the TxDPS, take a tip from someone who did so....call them and make sure they got it. Keep on sending and checking until they say they have it, and that it meets the requirements. Especially if what you are faxing has a photgraph on it.

It took me 4 attempts before they were satisfied with the fax copy of my document....but I had to call them everytime to check if it got there and was sufficient for their needs. They will not call you if it isn't.

Just a heads up. :tiphat:
