Check out "Inferno" brand. They add black pepper into the blend, and that's supposed to induce the involuntary sneeze reflex - so when the BG is going ah, ah, ah, (as in ah, choo!) he's filling his lungs deeply as possible with - the pepper spray. Nasty stuff I say. But of course check out the other posts on this board 'cause I'm no expert - but I fool myself sometimes!

Fox Labs seems to get the most recommendations when I looked into it awhile back.

That said, make sure you read this thread and don't buy her the crowd control size...

I just want her to have a small bottle, even though she could probably fit a 55gallon drum in her purse :lol:
I was looking in the GT distributors holiday catalog and saw the small MACE pepper spray, its pink so I think she would have an easier time carrying it!
She was very very reluctant to even agree to it, but I thought it through and made some valid points to her and kind of got her to see my point.
She does not even like the CHL idea, we were just brought up two different ways and in two different places.

Just use instant knockdown wasp and hornet spray. Less bucks for the bang. Some old gal used Raid on a mugger in Jasper last summer and the cops had to take him to the emergency room to stop his reaction.

Just a note that selection of a delivery system is just as important as the product characteristics, maybe even more so. OC delivery systems are generally characterized as mist, fog, splatter, or stream. Mist is perhaps the most common and least expensive, but it is also highly likely to get on the defender unless the environmental conditions are just right.

I personally prefer the stream type. Not only can it be placed more accurately and used at longer distances, but it is less likely to blow back in your own face in a modest breeze.

Check out tigerlight. I have seen one of the Series 1 lights in person and was impressed. It was three defensive tools in one. First off it was an extremely bright light, it has Pepper spray in the butt of it, and it would work as a club if needed. The now have a T100 model that small enough for people to carry, and they are about to launch a TV infomercial campaign. The website for their deal on the T100 in infomercial is https://www.tigerlightt100.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and their regular site is http://www.tigerlight.net/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Most of the Raid-type bug sprays basically use very small amounts of nerve agent -- the same stuff military people are issued atropine injectors for (to counteract) if a chemical attack by nerve gas is a possibility. The hospital may have also used atropine for this mugger.

While it is nasty stuff and I would not willingly breath it, I would not pin my life and hopes on something whose active/lethal ingredient is dosed for something the size of wasp...

I agree, for over an hour!

Bought some for me and the wife, I got really drunk the night before my wedding and me and my brother decided to "test" it "rlol"

I will NEVER EVER do that again. But I am happy that I know how it sprays and what the BG will feel like.
