You can pick up a brand new Henry for about $250 at Academy.

I know for sure that T's has a second hand Henry for $200 that looks in great condition. Race you for it! "rlol"

What you looking for? Bolt, lever,semi-auto, single shot? Old, newer? Looking for something for a youth or yourself? There are a lot of 22 rifles out there might help to narrow it down a bit. I've got a few I've decided to sell to get something else. Might have something for you.

It's not mine, but it is in your price range. It's a .17 HMR and not .22LR but it should meet your accurate and varmint rifle needs. Take a look here.

Most of what I have you'd have to drill and tap for a scope. Don't know that you'd want to use irons for a varmint gun.

I just bought a Savage Mark II FVXP (bolt action, adjustable trigger, syn stock, heavy barrel, with a 4X scope mounted) from Wal-Mart. It was from the special order catalog they don't stock them in the store. $250 plus tax!!! The Accutrigger is smooth and light. It is very accurate!! Google Savage Mark II, Gun Blast has a review. Check out the Savage website.

I did a lot of research before I bought it. The wood stock is much better looking! But I didn't want to spend the money for it and they don't have a package deal for the wood stock with a scope.

That just depends on how many varmits there are!
