What is the time lag for Houston (Harris County) application

Anybody out there submitted late November and has application complete status?
SSGT, USAF Security Police (1975-1981)
NORAD Cheyenne Mountain, Osan AB Korea, Ellsworth AFB S.D.
TX CHL/LTC Instructor (2011-2017)
NRA Pistol Instructor (2015-2017)

DPS received my app on 11/27(day before Thanksgiving) and my status changed to "active" Thursday 12/17. I'm only 21 and have lived in Harris Co. my whole life, plus I was already the FBI/Customs/Homeland security/HPD database from my job this summer,not sure if that made a difference.

Man, they are cranking them out. I had a juvenile out of state no-charge arrest from 15 years ago that is probably going to delay me for eternity even though I sent them a "no records found" doc from the county clerk. Unless they want to give me a christmas present.......
