Checking for other CHL holders in Texas

Hey Guys,
Is there a web site you can go to and check to see if another Texas resident has a chl license? I thought there was but I don't remember it

No, all you can do on the Internet is check the number of CHL's in particular zip codes. To find out about a particular person, you have to request the information from the DPS and they are required to let the CHL know you are asking.

There should not be a list of CHL holders, you can find out if that person has a CHL by providing the correct information on that person and yourself to the DPS in writing, the person that you ask about will be notified and given your information. I think a good policy that should get even better in September when I hope you won't be able to get any information at all.
