Holster Time
Ok, I am now searching for a holster for my Kimber Ultra II. Opinions on style as well as make would be cool! I use a Fobus Paddle for my Sig and Beagle, Will that style be ok for a 1911 as well?

Tucker HF1 then, don't forget the Texas Concho option ;)Diode wrote:It's IWB correct? I will need a OWB.cyphur wrote:Tucker Answer on order here, with a bullhide belt from Tucker as well.
I also looked at Milt Sparks, they're great holsters from what I hear. They have some OWB models.
I'm losing weight to carry IWB comfortably. No joke.

When I ordered mine a few weeks ago, IWB was 3-4 weeks out, OWB was 7-8 weeks out. Give Rob a shout and he'll be able to give you the best idea of lead time.
I've heard the holsters are well worth the wait, so I'm not worried about it. Its like my CHL, when it gets here, it gets here. I'm going to be telling my wife that the HF1 w/Tx Concho would make a great Xmas gift :)

It is tough to beat a Milt Sparks IWB......in my opinion. I carry both my Glock 17 & 22 an executive's companion and tend to forget about them after about five minutes! That is a big freakin gun to be able to wear with a T-shirt and shorts..
Don Hume makes a nice, inexpensive IWB holster if you are going to order something like Tucker or Milt Sparks.....you will get the Don Hume much much faster.

Holster for 1911
I am the new kid on the block for this site, but I have a holster recomendation. Go to H.B.E. Leather. @: http://www.hbeleatherworks.com/
For the money, His products are the best I have ever seen. I know you said you want OWB, his are good, but his IWB the Com/Com1 in std or fully tuckable are great. They spread the weight and bulge over a wider area and do not cause a bulge in your pants. Most comfortable on the market.
