In October, Billed as the biggest in the U.S......Suppose to be 4,000 tables, looks like a weekend trip..Now, can we buy from dealers since we are a boardering State? I know we/anyone can buy from private dealers, I was just wondering about regular dealers..

Thanks for asking - I was wondering the same thing myself. I was planning to attend, but since I'm not really interested in acquiring a long gun, I'm not sure if I'm going to make it or not. It would still be fun to walk around and see all the guns, but it's hard to justify the trip if I'm leaving empty handed.
Unless you live in Oklahoma, DO NOT BUY FROM A PRIVATE SELLER!!!! If they're not breaking the law, yes. And you can bet your bottom dollar the BATFE will be there conducting sting operations to try and bust sellers and buyers who are making illegal transfers. Seeing as how I live less than 10 minutes from the Oklahoma border you can only imagine how tempting it is to break the law when I see a deal at a show across the river or an ad in the paper! I've also seen a seller at an across the river show who I KNOW lives in TX and is not an FFL. Some will risk it, but I value my freedom and gun rights to much to risk a felony conviction.
