Plano Sports Authority - no concealed weapons sign

#1

Post by age_ranger »

I know that facilities must have the proper 30.06 posted, but would a city sports complex be that restricted sporting event? On the front doors they post no conceealed weapons.........yet again, I had to pause to think, but carried there anyway because of lack of the proper signage.

Did I carry legally?

I thought some of the more learned would have answered by now but in my opinion. Not a school event, not professional, you were legal.

It had me wondering since it's a city run facility. For some reason, I link it with schools since it's primarily a kids events type complex. Is it legal to carry at your kids sporting events?

Not if it's a school sponsored event.
If it's like an independant league type of thing, then you're golden.

It is if it's not a school or interscholastic event.
