Thanks Brother. I haven't actually shot the S/C, we only got it sunday afternoon after a range trip. Ahem, my wife's idea!

What a loving wife! ;-)

Ahhh, we DO expect a full range report by Monday evening, don't you know. It's in the rules-------> :rules:

(well we don't expect it but it sure would be nice to be able to brag about it) Pics would be nice too!

Carry guns/equipment: I'm only familiar with the weapons and calibers I used in the Military and am currently trying to educate myself on all the different types/usages of these civilian brands. That said, I own .45 pistols because I like them and am comfortable with them. I have 5.56 Rifle too. And other stuff, but we don't need to discuss that them.

Excellent website, I'm learning a lot.

2/17/10 Delivery Confirmation
2/25/10 Pin Received "Processing Application"
3/17/10 License issued or Certificate Active
3/20/10 Plastic in Hand

Hi Uncle Bob, welcome to the forum! There's a wealth of information here right at your fingertips regarding CHL and guns in general, and a wonderful bunch of people to get to know.

And I KNOW there will be alllll sorts of people chiming in with recommendations on different carry pieces!

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. That's how we learn. :tiphat:

Well, hello ya'll! How'd I miss this forum for so long? There's some good reading here!

My stats:
Age: 44
I work on generators for a living; been doing so for 16 years now. I love it!
Married with a pair of beautiful girls; 3 & 9.
I've had my CHL for a few years now & feel rather nekkid without a weight on my right hip.
Usually, the weight is a Kahr PM9 w/ Ranger ammo. But sometimes the Beretta 92F Compact.
A few others get rotated in from time to time.

Interests: Anything outdoors. From sitting out by the fire pit to blasting 100 miles offshore to chase big Tuna.
Every once in a while, I'll get a chance to go hunting and camping. Time is so short!

Glad to be here!

I forgot a valuable piece of info! I'm here near the Gulf Coast near Alvin(south of Houston). Near enough to PSC that, on a quiet day, I can hear when the range is hot. One of these days I'll make my way over there.
