My guess would be that they keep minimal to no inventory, therefore they do not have any finished goods that they have to dispose of if they do not sell.
But I agree with you, for the most popular styles, they should just have them on the shelf ready to ship.

Re: Minotaur vs. Crossbreed
They must have had "company day" at this week's NCAA games, thereby pushing back all production dates.
I ordered mine with a six day turnaround and pretty much received it on the sixth day. Not sure why the increase in production turnaround. Maybe due to an increase in CHL recipients? Their customer service is really good, so a quick note to inquire may shed some light on the issue.
Regardless, it's certainly worth the wait.

Re: Minotaur vs. Crossbreed
I don't know bout all that but I do know that there's a gun store down the road that stocks them on the shelf.MedicMan218 wrote: Ordered my Minotaur today!!
After I confirmed payment they said it would take 2-3 weeks for delivery? Really?
Also that they are custom made for each order. The design seems pretty simple to me, what is it they have to custom build? Seems to me that all the leather is the same, then take the kydex half shell and attach it and you're done....maybe someone can shed some light on the subject for me.
So, how could they be made custom for each order?
Maybe they're getting more orders than usual from people reading these threads
and they just can't keep up with demand.

USA1,
What gun store stocks them?
If they have mine, I'd rather just go get it than to order it?
thanks

Re: Minotaur vs. Crossbreed
Every time I have ordered from them I get the same message. That is just the standard replay that they system sends out. I have always gotten my in less than a weeks time. I bet you see it before the end of the week.MedicMan218 wrote: Ordered my Minotaur today!!

P.S. I have been wearing mine everyday for the last 3 years and its the only holster that I have for daily carry. Just see my Signature for my review on it.
