How old are you guys?

#1

Post by Fangs »

I know the bulk of CHLers are older gentlemen, as seen at my class, and many if the comments here. However, I believe that the younger guys (and girls) with CHLs are more likely to spend their time on the internet. So it leaves me wondering what the ages look like on the forum.

I didn't intentionally leave out older ladies, you just didn't fit into the previous paragraph well.

I put it in poll form so you don't have to give it away if you don't want to, but if you're so inclined, feel free to post your exact age.

I'm 23.

The poll wouldn't work right for me, I needed to mark two. My body is 63 but my mind is still about 40.

Every time I think of my age I'm reminded of a 3 Stooges line...

Moe: How old are you?

Curly: I'm 26!

Moe: Nah, you couldn't get that homely in 26 years...

I like this one from "In the Sweet Pie and Pie"

Curly: No! I'm too young to die. Too young and too handsome!
[looks in the mirror]
Curly: Well, I'm too young.

I voted for Barry Goldwater in my first POTUS election...and I'm okay with my age. People ordinarily don't age by being and doing stupid.

I'd hate like the devil to have to start over in this day and environment. Good luck, y'all!

Old enough to have celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary....

To borrow a phrase from a friend, this month I'll be celebrating the 20th anniversary of my 29th birthday.

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me

I realized I was getting old one day in the Bass Pro Shop.

I was looking at the tank where they have all the fish. A huge bass was swimming around and I was thinking how, many years ago, I would be thinking how much fun he would be to catch.

Instead I realized I was thinking how good he would taste.
God Bless America, and please hurry.
When I was young I knew all the answers. When I got older I started to realize I just hadn’t quite understood the questions.-Me
