New Toy.....

Springfield EMP in 9mm. New in box with 3 mags, holster and double mag holder.

Everyone I know that has one loves it, so....... I took the plunge. I can carry this one and leave the BHP in the safe most of the time ('cept for BBQ's). :smilelol5:

Guns are like parachutes, if your ever in a situation that you need one and you dont have one, you'll probably never need one again.

Will probably be awhile before I get to the range with it.
But here is a pretty good review of the pistol along with range report from another owner/forum.

I don't know how you can stand it.
I can't make it 24hrs without trying out a new gun. Especially one that nice. ;-)

Thanks USA1. Funny thing is.......I was just at the range yesterday shooting my Kobra Carry with my Son who is visiting from Canada.

When we got back he noticed the BHP in the safe and asked how many 9mm's I had. I said only one. He said you should get another (knowing the BHP was somewhat a Queen).

I had recently sold my Kahr that I had as a 2nd because I just was not using it (you know I am a 1911 kinda guy). But I have always wanted an EMP since they came out but never got around to it.

So, last night I ordered the EMP from a dealer in South Dakota.

That price in the review was way high because of the new release of the gun around 2006-07 and not only were they high, they were extremely hard to find any available.

I got this one for $1150.00, including shipping, NIB from South Dakota (no tax). Of course, I am going to send the Texas use tax in right away.
