The wife and I watched it and enjoyed.

I plan to tell Tivo to record all.

Some of the plot twists are a bit of a streatch.
(A School Bus, a prison bus, and a major car accident all happened too close together. And the school bus nearly ran out of gas on the way back from a local field trip.)

Someone setting off Nukes in Denver and Atlanta at the same time seems like a normal 'end-of-the-world' plot.

Other things in the plot can be used as a reminder to pick up a couple of items, next time I am at the hardware store.

Gas Cans, a generator, portable lights, and dust/surgical masks all made it to the list.

I may even order some Iodine tablets.

One side note
Real Men don't go shopping. We go buying. Unless, we are talking hardware stores. I can't remember the last time I got out of a hardware store for less than $100. (Except for once when I had a list and a deadline.)
See you at the range

Looks like they only have 5 episodes in the can, and probably in the next couple of weeks they'll decide to work on a few more to run out the rest of the season...

I don't see this as a long run, or multi-season series...

But I think it will be informative in an entertaining way...

Should satisfy those of us who think in "what if" or "what would you do" ways...

The web replay is cool, watching shows in small increments (I have kids so I would not watch any series if not for tivo  )

Add Philadelphia, Chicago, San Diego as of about 5 minutes ago...

Anybody ever read "Alas, Babylon"? ;-)

That was almost required reading in the Stevie-D household, read it when I was about 12-13...My parents were pretty cruel...

I think this weeks episode was better than the first weeks episode. It unusual for a TV show to be this good.

I think I'm hooked. Looking forward to next week.

It was written for the cold war, and I'd like to think we'd never need this info, but with the terrorists pursuing nuclear weapons it's a handy reference:

Wednesday, 10/4 episode:

This is getting better and better.

Black, ex-St. Louis cop in the middle of Kansas is a very well prepared survivalist? Crate of black rifles, and who-knows-what in those other drums and crates?
