USCCA Emails Won't Cease!

#1

Post by Zen Nomad »

I've had it with USCCA email marketing. Their latest campaign is ridiculous and it is precisely the reason I will not renew my membership. I have asked to be removed from their email marketing list, but have since been ignored.

It is simple to delete the emails or even put a filter in place to toss them in the trash, but I feel that this organization should take a seriously look at their tactics. Hell, even the NRA or TSRA don't hit me up with the same number of messages in a year that I've seen in the last month by USCCA.

This is an organization is not providing its members a service through such efforts. It proves that they care more about money than their members or their cause.

Set up a filter to reply so they get all the emails you get or if you like I can write a program to send them emails every 5 seconds asking to be removed.

I really wish they would clean up their act, organizations that behave in this manner hurt the overall image of the RKBA movement. I have seen some of their materials and its good stuff but the costs (Tarnished image) outweigh the benefits (good information) in situations like this.

Yes, I considered the latter, but decided I didn't want any of that money people are putting in for this new membership to be used to take me to court. :???:

No more USCCA for me. I have been banned with no warning and labeled as a troll.
Members there are getting very extreme and intolerant to other opinions.

I am happy I am no more associted with said association. :clapping: As matter of fact, USCCA is NOT a true associatio as member have no legal rights, voting rights, or even representation. It is simply a targeted marketing scheme to maximize profits and reduce costs.

That's a good point. It's not an association. It's a private business for profit. I know they have given some money out to help certain causes, but it is not a non-profit org. I imagine it provides some value to some people (I was a member several years ago for the magazine).

I joined but have found out it was a waste of money. IMO There is no information on the forum, or in the magazine, that I can't get right here. I think this forum is better and it didn't cost me to join. I think I have read that forum twice. I read this one on a daily basis.
