Who is coming across the border

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

Interesting read, not very long, hits it right on on the head if you ask me.

I think that this quote from the article,
http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/201 ... issou.html
says it all:
Fredo Arias-King, former foreign relations aid to Vicente Fox, explained back in 2006

"While Democratic legislators we spoke with welcomed the Latino vote, they seemed more interested in those immigrants and their offspring as a tool to increase the role of the government in society and the economy. Several of them tended to see Latin American immigrants and even Latino constituents as both more dependent on and accepting of active government programs and the political class guaranteeing those programs, a point they emphasized more than the voting per se. Moreover, they saw Latinos as more loyal and "dependable" in supporting a patron-client system and in building reliable patronage networks to circumvent the exigencies of political life as devised by the Founding Fathers and expected daily by the average American."
Sounds like a little Chicago or New York City to me.

Oh man... I knew Arizona was overreacting, it doesn't even share a border with Mexico! :banghead:

I know she's up for reelection but this is disturbing if true.

I understand that area of parkland has been closed since 2006. A sensible security measure IMO.

A sensible security measure? You've got to be kidding me...

This is AMERICA. We are giving up 3500 acres to illegals and traffickers, and you say it's a sensible security measure...wow

Perhaps we should make DC and Chicago off limits to American citizens because of violence. :biggrinjester:

So how about the people of those county's join together and form their own "Paramilitary" squads and patrol and engage these smugglers. I am sure there are many vet's in this country that would be more then happy to volunteer some of their time. I am sure then the Govt would deploy troops to stop the Americans from doing anything.

It'd be interesting to see how that turned out...

I could support that if it was not populated with hate groups and if they engage with out first being fired upon they will defeat the purpose and become the bad guys even if it was drug smugglers they shot, they have feelings too.
