Great summertime t-shirts for IWB/OWB carry

#1

Post by MojoTexas »

I recently ordered a couple of these t-shirts and I like them so much I thought I'd pass along the information in case anyone else is interested.

They're made by a company called Duluth Trading Co. and they're called the "Longtail T®", and they're designed to prevent the dreaded "plumber bottom" effect when you're bent over working on something. The benefit for me is that the extra length also means that the shirt goes quite a bit lower and covers up my concealed pistol better, and I'm not constantly worried about it riding up when I sit down or reach for something above my head. Furthermore, they're made of beefy cotton knit, and the construction and quality is top-notch.

I'm probably going to order a few more, simply because I'm so impressed with how comfortable they are and how well they work for casual concealed carry during these warmer months. I'm a tall guy (6'6") so having the extra length is important for me, since a "tall size" is more of a "normal" length on me.

I count myself as one of the lucky (shorter) fellas... I am able to buy one-size-larger T-shirts at Sam's for under $6 that fit great and really hide the beer belly! :cheers2:

I have a black t-shirt that has "innocent bystander" in white letters on the front, and another one in olive drab that says "infidel" in Arabic and English. Do these count as "summertime t-shirts"???

Nice find... too bad the Tshirts have the ugly pocket

If you click "Longtails" on the left, they have some without pockets if you prefer them. You can also get long sleeves and sleeveless for that Larry the Cable Guy look. ;-)

Yea but if you expose a healthy amount of "plumber's crack" everyone covers their eyes like they just saw a nuclear blast and the bazooka you were trying to conceal on your side goes completely unnoticed. Like trying to get a glimpse of Mercury as it passes by the sun - it requires special equipment.

Nice find!

Cool!! I see them. As you know, we in TX have very little use for long sleeves
