Great idea. Can you post a pic of the rifle with that sight on it?HeeHaw wrote:I put a Sightron big sky 1.25-5x on mine. It is prefect for it. It is a small light wieght scope and has a perfect power range for that caliber.
Here my truck guns!74novaman wrote:Pictures/range report!
Took it out today. Ran flawlessly, love how it handles and shoots, nice trigger pull.
2 things I want to do: It needs a sling. It also could benefit from either some sort of red dot or low power (2x) scope. The sights are not the greatest.
Other than that, love this gun!
Sorry for the low lighting.
Here she is:
With the other .357 in the family. 125 grain hollowpoints for the snubby, 140 grain Hornady Leverolution for the 1894.
With my AK for a size comparison.
I'm very happy with this gun.
Thats alright, you can get something from here to store your weapons then!Terlingueno wrote:I don't have a trunk. I drive a Suburban...
Nice rifle. It's easier to load than my Henry.74novaman wrote:a Marlin 1894c in .357 magnum.

I figured 10 shots of .357 in a rifle in the truck would be a nice complement to the .45 and or .357 snubby that normally rides around with me. Its easy handling, but a pain to load (so far, need to get the hang of it). Can't wait to go shoot this thing!

No, they require the 200 dollars stamp for a SBR. Jroberts, you're making me drool man...I can't afford to build another AK right now....stop it!Beiruty wrote:Are those short barrel AK legal to own without FBI license?
I agree with this. I'm looking for a used .30-30 lever gun for a trunk gun for partly this reason.Rex B wrote:That's just way too nice for a trunk gun. A trunk gun needs to be something that works well, but you don't mind it getting scuffed up - because it already is. At least that's my definition. otherwise it's a great choice.
