Tattoo = feminist = abortions? Fascinating viewpoint. The internet truly has something for everyone.

I didn't know who Mike Adams is so I looked at the article and it gave a brief bio:
Mike Adams is a criminology professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and author of Feminists Say the Darndest Things: A Politically Incorrect Professor Confronts "Womyn" On Campus.
That explains why he is targeting feminists in this column and why so many of them are apparently targeting him.

We are reformers in Spring and Summer; in Autumn and Winter we stand by the old;

Not all feminists are as militant and corrupt as the particular one he seems to be writing about. He pointed out her love of violence in supporting the murder of babies if not the support of such. One reason I don't respect any leftists militant type is that they scream about war, animals, hunting and so on yet support the murder of human children and other innocents for their cause. That includes both females and males. I think the author is pointing that out where this particular hate filled person is concerned. I don't agree with the way he responded to their e-mails but he got his point across. That is, if they want to carry out the threats, they seems to have made, he is ready and will not restrain himself legally or otherwise.

Women can be as violent as any man. Especially in a society that doesn't want to recognize that fact. Most of us don't ever deal experience a woman like that in their lives so we are not prepared to deal with it if we are confronted. I have come across this kind and have decided I will not hesitate to defend myself from them any differently than I would if it were a man. I will do all I can to deescalate the situation or escape but if I have no choice...

Feminist an about as outdated as unions. A lot of people think feminist want women to be equal to men but what they really want is for women to be superior to men. If they want equality for all peoples they would be call equalist.

I don't see feminist trying to pressure the military into lifting the ban on women in infantry, artillery or other direct combat roles. Women are not asked to enroll into the selective service program.

There are places in the world where sharia law is prevalent Iran will soon stone a women to death for adultery. Feminist are not protesting this en-mass or trying to raise awareness. If they are doing such thing they have a terrible publicist. I don't see them on the news twitter or even youtube. Like every other left group they are afraid of appearing anti Muslim.

Now they are trying to rewrite American history. They recently demanded the Founding Fathers be relabeled to the less sexist Founders. There is so much real work to be done but these "womyn" keep wasting our time with nonsense

I also had to look him up. I love this line from one of his other columns:
I am writing this column with a loaded double barrel shotgun to my right and a loaded .357 magnum to my left. If you are a sword-wielding jihadist, please don’t bother. You’ll only annoy me and make me spill my coffee.

I do not get, and frankly am offended, by his immutable connection between feminism, tattoos, acceptable of abortion, and being of questionable moral character (you guys know the term I mean but the 10-yr-old-daughter-rule applies here). I consider myself a feminist, but being pro-women does not automatically require being anti-men, or pro-abortion for that matter (I'm also a pro-life Christian Republican with nary a single tattoo, which would probably really confuse Mr. Adams' calcified tiny husk of a brain). Mr. Adams has confused being a skank with being a feminist - the two subsets of humanity might overlap, but are not the same.

As for feminism being outdated - it will never be outdated until equality is achieved - not quotas, not special treatment, not affirmative action, either for or against females. We're not there yet in the US, and will not be until hiring and promotional opportunities are gender-blind, because so much of Americans' self-identity is tied into what they do for a living. Do not keep me from a job I'm qualified for, and do not give me a job for which I'm not qualified. Pretty simple, no?

I do not want to be superior to men, and never have wanted to - I only wanted an equal shot at the same educational and career opportunities, for which I frequently had to put myself and others in the uncomfortable position of coming face-to-face with the fact that they considered me inferior solely and completely because of my chromosomes, regardless of my IQ, education, experience, or willingness to do a job. If a man is unhappy about living with the concept that I'm able to successfully take that course of study, do that job, drive that vehicle, or shoot that firearm as well as he can ... that's his problem, not mine. I didn't make myself superior - he made himself inferior. There's a difference. I should not have to be a rug just because he can't do better than a crawl.

Do I think all people should be treated equally? No, I do not. I could readily be called a meritocrat (I know that 's not a word, but cannot at this point think of the proper description for one who believes in a meritocracy). I think people who are smart and have a strong work ethic and morals are worth more, to a society, than the people who do not; those who do have those characteristics should be able to exercise them to their fullest, regardless of gender - and those who are not "pulling their weight" (in some form) should not have the privileges granted to those who do.

Perhaps Mr. Adams is being as extreme as his column suggests for the dubious "entertainment" effect - as some of the talk show hosts do, frothing at the mouth for ratings and advertising dollars. If so, he is doing his sincere opinions - those buried in the rant - a great disservice.

When the Himalayan peasant meets the he-bear in his pride,
He shouts to scare the monster, who will often turn aside.
But the she-bear thus accosted rends the peasant tooth and nail.
For the female of the species is more deadly than the male.
When in doubt

I wish more people had your enlightened point of view, men and women. Unfortunately, there are feminists who consider being male at best inferior at worse a disease. Unfortunately the craziest voice is often the loudest. And they are trying to push out your moderate voice and replace it with their own agenda. Much like what is happening with Islam. Can we convert America into a meritocracy? No not while political correctness rules the day

Even then, the losers will blame an -ism for their personal failures. Just look at Quanell Ten and the Reverend Not-so-Sharpton.

I would like to believe that he was attempting to demonstrate absurdity by being absurd.

Admittedly he didn’t do a very good job of it.

I'm taking a hippie leftist feminist with tattoos out shooting when she gets back from Burning Man.
Ya'll should, too.
She's cute, too.
