I watched Oliver North's show "War Stories" Sat. nite. I can tell you that our southern borders are really sad. I know everyone on forum is aware of this. However what I saw was really sad. I believe with out a shadow of a doubt the our goverment doesn't want to protect our borders, to much money to be made; by not closing them. Let's just go thru the motions, the average Joe is stupid. The poor people that live down on the borders are having to live in fear. What else can I say. it's really a sad state of affairs. :cryin

:iagree: I also watch the show and was disappointed in what it showed about our efforts.

All show and no go is what's happening on our southern border. Undermanned and overworked diligent Border Patrol officers are not making any headway. So far putting any troops on the border is pure show. At the same time DHS and TSA conduct sexual assaults on American citizens to intimidate them into compliance with government mandates that again are show. You are right. Very sad and I am afraid it will eventually lead to the demise of our country.
Jesus said, "And the one who has no sword must sell his cloak and buy one." (Luke 22:36 NET) Also, Jesus said, "When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own homestead, his possessions are undisturbed"(Luke 11:21 NAS)

I'm afraid it'll be much sooner than "eventually".

Invaders are invaders. Failure to recognize that and defend appropriately caused the downfall of many civilizations. One historical defense was assimilating the barbarian invaders into the civilized culture but that's not "PC" so the USA is doomed to become another banana republic or maybe a satrapy, unless the tide is reversed soon.
