Primarily at the Collin County Shooting Range, followed by Bullet Trap, Backwoods Traps, and Dallas Gun Range.

Mainly Shooter's Station in Conroe. For long guns I go to either Carter's Country or Thunder Gun Range.

Bayou Rifles - the Juliff range. It is actually on the way home from work, so I can shoot whenever it is not raining - and sometimes when it is, if I'm willing to sacrifice the cardboard backer. Pistol ranges are covered, as are 100 and 300 yard rifle; but 200 and 600 are *not* covered!

I've recently started shooting down at my parents' place. It's a 45 minute drive, but unlike most indoor ranges, I can practice a lot of things there that the indoor ranges won't let you practice (drawing from concealment, rapid fire, close quarters stuff, etc.). The other benefit is no range fees. :D

I still go to indoor ranges to practice precision shooting. Generally, I go to Bass Pro Shop or DFW Gun Range when I want to do that. BPS is temporarily closed because of a fire though.

i go to alpine to shoot pistols. when i take out my rifles, i make the trek to tac-pro. the money i save shooting surplus FMJ ammo far exceeds my gas and time driving the distance to get there. there's no shade on their rifle ranges, but i like having a few ranges all to myself, no rules against rapid fire, and shooting the cheap surplus.

I do most of mine here at the house as I have a range out back. I have a place to do Cowboy and some IDPA style shooting plus a rifle range out to 850yds.

Gun Emporium off 2854 in Conroe.

Great guys in there, buy it from 'em and they'll take care of you on it if something happens. Average on firearms prices, good on range fees ($5.00 per gun).

Very nice people who are honest and good to do business with.
