I don't have any experience with this holster, but I would not recommend it. The reason is that it is not a rigid holster. I would suggest a holster that is formed to your particular gun - contructed from leather or kydex.

I haven't thought about that before. The holster is designed for my particular gun, but I don't know how snug it would be. I agree if it is loose-fitting, it probably would not be good to use.

The "snugness" will depend on how much you tighten your belt. That is why I don't recommend it.

I've been quite satisfied carrying my HK P2000SK in a similar holster from High Noon.
The fit is snug enough that it required a few days of break-in. Combined with a good belt and I have not had any concerns about holster retention.

It is not designed for the Sig P239

I called Galco up, they said they could do it custom, but they won't

EDIT: I might just compare gun dimensions for the guns that the Tuck-n-Go is designed for and see which one is the closest to the P239 and try that one.

I was thinking the same thing, they dont make the tuck-n-go for the 239, I have the tuck-n-go for my 238 and its not a bad holster, that being said I have a similar holster for my 239 and I am not a fan of it at all. at 5'6 with no cant on the holster, the gun makes bending over to pick something up almost impossible for me. but thats just me,

if its anything like the holster for my 238, it will hold the gun firm.

I guess I should mention that the finish irritates my skin YMMV

and if your going to try one, I think your best bet would be the S&W .40 M&P Compact ist almost right onw ith width and length but the height is a little off

I like GALCO holsters. They seem to have value for the money. I use a JAK slide to carry a Kimber Ultra. Works fine with a Crimson Trace grip. A Browning BDA .380 also fits in it. I also sometimes use a YAQUI slide for my full size Kimber (also with a Crimson Trace grip. My JAK always stays on my belt and is over 10 years old. The JAK does not look like a holster if it is empty. I do spray the inside of my holsters with silcone spray every few years. I also have a Galco made for a full size 1911, carried in the small of the back. That holster does not work for me.

Had and used one and here is my take:

Pros:
1. It is decent fit and quality for the price.
2. Very soft and comfy.
3. Retention seems snug. Wouldn't go standing on my head but it seems good even after a bit of break in. And as may are saying, a lot depends on how tight you wear your belt.

Cons:
1. No cant is poor for 3:30 - 4:00 carry. Does not work for me.
2. The belt clip is flimsy and useless. The holster can end up anywhere after a bit of activity.

I consider Galco the McDonalds of holsters. Don't get me wrong, I eat McDonalds. Some of Galco's Kydex models are pretty good.

I carry at 3:30 to 4:00 and 15 to 20 degrees cant pulls the gun butt up against my back and it all disappears using minimal cover. I have a Galco Kydex Triton holster http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterPG3.asp?P ... 7&GunID=51 and a Desantis Insider Holster http://www.desantisholster.com/store/SE ... he-Insider That I modified myself to have the exact same cant and depth as the Galco Kydex holster.

So the deal is this: I use the Galco Kydex holster at the range to practice draw and fire since you can easily re-holster the Kydex. I use the DeSantis Insider for every day comfortable carry. I don't plan on needing to constantly re-holster so the fact that it is soft and collapses once you unholster is no issue. I always keep the weapon in the holster with the trigger covered when putting it on and taking it off.

Anyways, that is my suggestion for everyday comfortable carry. It needs to have proper cant and depth and a wide and strong enough metal clip to keep it in one spot.

If you aren't afraid to spend the cash I recommend the Tucker Answer http://rlcompanyusa.stores.yahoo.net/answeriwbs.html I had a chance to handle one in person and was impressed enough to order it. The internal leather lining in the Kydex was the selling point. I plan to use it on weekends since I won't have to remove my rig every time I get to work in the am. That and with the 2 clips it is FAR more secure and I do alot more activities on the weekends.
