Re: Ranger leather belt question
Not close to Houston, but still a Tx leather maker, try DM Bullard.

He makes a very nice, thick, stiff Ranger style belt. I bought one several years
ago and it's still in great shape. Plus, you can have it basketweave, plain,
running W. Chose the color etc. Lots of choices. Definitely worth the wait.
Good luck.

Re: Ranger leather belt question
I am wanting a Ranger style gun belt as well but got to thinking, can I get it through the holster and mag pouch loops on some of the ones I have. I know the one I am getting made by Riverrat will work as he can build it that way. but I have one with some conchos and they do not pass through some of the hard plastic ones. Just something to think about for a gun belt.

Yes Sir, good point. I too have a few holsters/loops that won't work with the Bullard belt due to it's thickness.gwashorn wrote:I am wanting a Ranger style gun belt as well but got to thinking, can I get it through the holster and mag pouch loops on some of the ones I have. However, he does offer a standard thickness belt (not double thick) that should work fine with most carry leather.
Check out Riverrat too, maybe he's the way to go.
