Re: Political Bumper Stickers could make you a target
I parked next to a vehicle with a "country of origin" shaped "RKBA" sticker on the window at a local McDonald's.
Even though I didn't have my rabbit's foot with me, I still felt safe.
Go figure.

He is to be commended for making an attempt at saving his family name from scorn and ridicule.

He's your brother. He doesn't want you to get hurt by having dangerous bumper stickers. Make his life easier and quit putting those things on your car/truck/little red wagon.loadedliberal wrote:funny, every-time I have a Pro-Democrat sticker on my car it disappers, however I am starting to suspect a certian brother of mine
I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on.
I don't do those things to other people and I require the same of them.
Don’t pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he’ll just kill you.

Hey I like my little car, dont get me wrong I miss my truck, but I do not miss the gas bill. Its a hard adjustment sometimes when in a truck people will tend to get out of your way faster.OldCurlyWolf wrote:He's your brother. I have only had one bumper sticker on any car I ever had. It is my signature line.

Re: Political Bumper Stickers could make you a target
I feel compelled to put (magnetic) stickers on my car. I had an opportunity to get a used Prius at too good a deal to pass up (especially considering my daily driver was a Blazer that gets 15 MPG on a good day). Well, I really couldn't pass on the Prius. But it is far from a vehicle I would ever choose for myself - before it was mine I called it a Pious... and I still do even to this day. I also call it The Smug-mobile, since a lot of folks who own one feel rather smug. (Me, I know darn well the environmental impact to manufacture it, as well as the ultimate disposal - not to mention there are other pure-gasoline cars that can get mileage just as good, but I digress.) Anyway, I can't be seen driving a Smug-mobile without at least attempting to show some of my personality. My attempt: the Life Member NRA license plate frame and the TSRA magnet sticker. At this rate, I figure I'll have everybody aiming to key my car.

Its funny you say you drive a prius, the other day I was talking to some friends of mine and was asked to describe Austin, the best I could come up with is its like "a Pruis with a gun rack" yeah we're a "bit" more liberal than the rest of the state but it is still Texas.
