Inexspensive IWB Holster

#1

Post by wargecko »

My status today was mailed and I still have about 4 weeks until my holster arrives. Looking for a decent inexspensive holster to use until my primary one arrives, as I forsee my plastic arriving before the holster does. Plan on carrying a Glock 30 .45 ACP, strong side hip.

I'd bite the bullet and get a summer comfort (or one like it from a quality maker) and a good belt. If you have more than one suitable pistol, got one for the one you don't intend for your daily carry. That way, you have a secondary rig in case your primary pistol goes to the smith for improvements, company for warranty work, etc.

I've found there's a reason cheap is cheap.

You didn't mention what holster you're waiting on. Backorderd?

Check the For Sale section here, we have a couple of holster makers on here offering fairly inexpensive hybrid holsters.

I am waiting on my Texas Heritage from Tucker Gunleather; my other handgun is a Remington UMC 1911 .45, so I will not be lugging that around as a concealed carry.

Blackhawk makes a budget model iwb for around 12-15 bucks. I got one at a gun shop until I got a supertuck.
